This white fashion shoe in the Hi-lites range, which is due to come from the production line shortly, was designed by John Martin, to team with the summer fashions.

It will be made in Dept 424, of which long service Bataman George Hitchings is the foreman.

A feature of this model is the lower heel with the minute flair. It sports the closed toe with the fashionable point and and adjustable sling-back. The cut of the top line comes low over the forepart and this is set off by a delicate self-adjusting strap over the throat. The fashion points are emphasised by porthole punching.

It will sell at 39s. 11d.

Coming off the production line this week is this latest design in the Company’s Hi-lites range.

It is a delightful fashion shoe with a fashionable cross-over spaghetti strap and an elegant toe. First shoes were in shaded gold-leaf and others will be in honesty, black and white.
