Kenneth Tucker was an Aircraftman 1st Class with 24 Squadron Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
He joined the Bata Shoe Company at East Tilbury in 1937 and applied himself rising rapidly to the postion of Foreman in the Leather Factory.
In 1940 he carried his Department to win the Annual Spring Competition. He left in April 1941 to join the R.A.F. where he chose engineering and maintenance work, he proved to be a hard and conscientious worker and rose to the rank of Corporal

Kenneth died in Wales on Friday 17th July 1942, aged 21 and was buried at Norwood on Thursday 23rd July 1942.
He was th son of Thomas Henry Arthur and Dorothy Alberta Tucker of West Norwood.
