Thomas Mills was a Warrant Officer in the Royal Air Force. Whilst working at East Tilbury he was in Department 640 and 680 of the Re-Finishing Department.
In 1940 he wrote to the Bata Record to say that he was a Corporal in the R.A.F. hoping to go onto a Sergeant Pilot's Course.
Thomas died on Saturday 22nd January 1944 following Air Operations in the Middle East. He is commemorated on the Runnymeade Memorial.
